The market for holiday accommodation has changed considerable over the last 10 years.
From small and low cost units to big houses well decorated and luxury.

The zap house did not meet these criteria and is now in use for storing and processing seaweed.

Zap stands for modular housing construction, flexible and movable.

Our zap house is built from two twenty two foot sea containers, leading to this unusual design.

House of knowledge

It contains a library/ study with over 4.000 books, most of them written between 1750 and the year 2000.
Popular books, strips, roman’ s, science fiction, science, history, religious, mystic, occult (esoteric) etc. (different languages)

The Zap house consists of a libary/study, kitchen/living; bathroom with toilet/shower, one bedroom.

View: from the library/ study you can see part of Coulagh Bay.

This Zap house is a place for meditation, self-reflection; to study or simply read a book and relax.

If you are looking for luxury/ comfort, it is not the place to be. Everything is just basic.

Due to its metal structure, the electro-magnetic field inside is nearly zero. (Faraday/Gansfeld)
You can feel it and it makes it easier to relax.

The house is only available during off-season (September until April).

It is a good place for artists like writers, painters, photographers, and people enjoying sabbatical leave, or, just looking for a retreat.

Because of its budget price, it can only be rented for longer periods; with a minimal of 4 weeks.
